The Aorus K7 RGB Mech Keyboard and M3 Mouse
![]() Gigabyte M6800 Windows 10 Driver
Gigabyte recently released a new mouse and Cherry Red based RGB lit mechanical keyboard under their premium Aorus branding. This gaming gear is very much to our liking, being properly configurable as well as offering good aesthetics and ergonomics. In this review we'll actually cover three things, primarily the new Aorus K7 keyboard, but we'll also dive into the Aorus M3 branded gaming mouse as well as show you the AMP500 mouse pad. So this is a full gaming peripheral coverage for Gigabyte alright.
The LED Flickering you only see in the video btw, this is related to camera shutter time.
It was last year that Gigabyte launched graphics cards under their Aorus branding, this is now expanding into other ranges. You can look at AORUS as Gigabyte’s premium brand, much to what ROG is for ASUS. Products that have been totally revamped and designed, all customized with that premium feel and gamer design. Gigabyte opened up a new chapter a year ago with the Aorus gaming peripheral products which are going to include a full range of products like headsets, mice and keyboards. The keyboard and mouse, as we review today, are a more premium combo. Armed with Cherry MX Red switches and lighting, it's not all about the RGB LEDs and cool lighting animations these days. Cherry RED keys provide a nice key response and an optimized actuation force. Reduced key actuation distance of 2mm improves keyboard response time while remaining relatively silent during operation. The keyboard goes back to basics in terms of design, a ridged product sitting on your desktop that, for a change, actually looks like a keyboard you grew up with, yet a little more sleek. Cherry MX based, it has switchable keys of which some are contoured. The keyboard comes with a USB connector and some aesthetic tweaks. Though perfect for normal usage, we feel the K7 is a great FPS and RTS gaming keyboard. The specs overall include a 1000Hz polling rate (configurable), 100% anti-ghosting, media keys and full n-key rollover.

The mouse we'll cover as well is the Aorus M3. We mentioned in our mouse reviews many times now, it is a very crowded place to be in the PC gaming hardware arena, especially when it comes to keyboards and mice. Whether you have 5 bucks to spend or 100 EUR, there WILL be a product matching that budget. Simple mice, small mice, mice dedicated to games, mice with multiple scanning lasers, mice with adjustable weight systems, and on and on. The Aorus M3 gaming mouse, as such, is a stylish ergonomic feeling 6400 DPI mouse that comes with a professional-grade sensor (optical sensor - Pixart 3988) offering fast image processing capability. The M3 comes in an ergonomic design, has great looks and proper DPI programmability. But please take a peek at the products and then let's head onwards into the review. So, the review you are reading is actually typed on the Aorus K7 keyboard.
